Design Museum of Chicago
A local, non-profit cultural institution, Design Museum of Chicago (formerly Chicago Design Museum) believes design has the fundamental capacity to improve the human condition and strives to make it accessible to everyone through free exhibitions throughout the year. The museum meets people where they are, facilitating conversations around design comprised of a variety of voices, backgrounds, and viewpoints and takes the viewpoint that design is not just a single discipline or process, but a persistent element present in our everyday environments and experiences.
For three years I served as the museum's creative director, overseeing an all-volunteer team of exhibition designers, marketing strategists, architects, curators, writers, and the museum's internship program.
